GIO General Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Suncorp-Metway Ltd., one of Australia's top 25 companies. The Suncorp Group includes Australia's fourth largest general insurance group and sixth largest bank. It has total assets of over $48 billion and around $12 billion funds under management.
